These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the websites and services of ONYX & SONS ("Onyx," "we," "us," or "our"), including our wholesale window film distribution storefront and our automotive and architectural window film services. By using our sites, creating an account, placing an order, or opting in to our communications, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use our sites, create an account, place an order, or opt in to our text messaging programs. By using the services you represent that you are 18 or older.
- Trade accounts are intended for businesses and professional installers. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- We may suspend or close accounts that provide false information or misuse the services.
2. Orders, Pricing & Payment
- All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. Wholesale pricing is available to approved trade accounts only and may change without notice.
- All order totals — including shipping — are computed at the time of order. Payment is processed by our payment processor (Helcim). Some items are quoted by phone.
- Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase; an order is accepted when confirmed by us. We may cancel or refuse an order (for example, pricing errors or unavailable stock) with a full refund of any amount paid.
3. Shipping, Pickup & Delivery
- Shipping charges are calculated from live carrier rates where available. In-store pickup is available at our Lodi, CA location. Local same-day delivery may be offered within a limited radius; courier fees are confirmed at dispatch.
- Risk of loss passes on delivery to the carrier for shipped orders. Please inspect deliveries and report damage promptly so we can make it right.
4. Returns & Warranty
- Film products carry the manufacturer's warranty stated on the product (for example, lifetime warranty on qualifying automotive films and 10-year warranty on qualifying paint protection film). Warranty terms are provided with the product line documentation.
- Because film rolls are cut-to-order goods, returns are handled case-by-case — contact us at 1‑877‑893‑2338 and we will work with you.
5. Text Messaging Program Terms (SMS)
ONYX & SONS offers two separate text messaging programs:
- Informational / transactional program — order confirmations, delivery and pickup updates, appointment reminders, and account or service notifications.
- Promotional program — offers, promotions, and marketing messages, sent only to customers who separately opt in to promotional texts.
By opting in, you authorize ONYX & SONS to text/call the number you provided, possibly using automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to cancel and unsubscribe from that program.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 1‑877‑893‑2338.
The text messaging programs are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By opting in, you confirm that you are at least 18 and the owner or authorized user of the mobile number provided.
Opting out of one program does not automatically opt you out of the other; reply STOP to the messages you no longer wish to receive. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how your information — including text messaging opt-in data, which is never shared with third parties for marketing — is handled.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the sites — including attempting to access other customers' data, interfering with the operation of the services, or using the sites for unlawful purposes.
7. Intellectual Property
The sites, including logos, product imagery, text, and design, are the property of ONYX & SONS or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The sites and services are provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, ONYX & SONS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the sites or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Joaquin County, California.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the sites after changes constitutes acceptance.
